142025 at Darlington. Think this is the only 142 left in full Northern Spirit Livery! - any updates are welcome. Darlington |
|
|
|---|
| 5 units were painted in the livery (142025, 026, 050, 065, 066). Only 142026 has lost the livery up to press when it was repainted in Arriva Corporate livery in 2004. The 4 remaining units do seem illusive though. |

Thankyou for the comment. As it says in the collection decription, special permission was obtained from the staff at Rovenden works to enter and take photos/have a look at what was going on. I strongly advise anyone wishing to do so does the same - as this is restricted access and is for staff only - plus the fact this is a works, so they could be doing anything from needle gunning to welding, to machining. It's also technically classed as tresspass if you don't ask for permission......
HTH! |
